“Tis the season to be jolly”… But to be honest I have felt like this for most of 2012.

A big massive “Thank you” for being able to sit here and write my 2nd merry Christmas message for my site. The love and support this year has been overwhelming and has kept me motivated and excited about the year ahead.

There is too many highlights and people to mention here but from the bottom of my heart for anyone who even sent a supportive tweet or message I am grateful.

As you may be aware I am doing a “12 days of Music” project over on my Youtube Channel. I hope you are enjoying it and a massive shout out to all the very talented people who got involved.

I will update you again in January 2013 as I have some exciting news to announce but till then I will leave you to enjoy and celebrate with your loved one with this nugget of WISDOM:

“THE FIRST STEP TO A GREAT LIFE IS TO FILL YOUR LIFE WITH A POSITIVE FAITH THAT WILL HELP YOU THROUGH ANYTHING. THE SECOND IS TO BEGIN WHERE YOU ARE”

JOHNNY HAN – Director

From his early days in New York, Johnny Han knew he wanted to be a filmmaker. It began by with shooting movies in the garage, with choreographed action scenes and toy cars. And later, with the formal training he received at the acclaimed School of Visual Arts where he earned his BFA. That launched his career as he began work on commercials at Curious Pictures. Four years later, he stepped into the TV world and L.A., as the VFX Lead on the smash superhero series, SMALLVILLE. Demonstrating amazing dedication and innovation, Johnny was nominated 3 times in VES for outstanding VFX, compositing, and digital environments for the show.

Johnny expanded his skills and experience at Sony Pictures Imageworks, one of L.A.’s top VFX shops. He became FX Technical Director on Warners Bros. SUPERMAN RETURNS which was VFX Oscar-nominated. His contributions continued on a diverse range of features including SPIDERMAN 3, BEOWULF and WATCHMEN.

The recognition of Johnny’s artistic and technical achievements led to his position as on-set VFX Supervisor for the Emmy-winning TV show HEROES. This was a highly challenging and all-encompassing role — where he worked one-on-one with directors, DPs, writers and art directors to bring to life grand VFX born of brief words and simple sketches.

Johnny then became VFX Supervisor on the blockbuster 2012. He worked closely with director Roland Emmerich to achieve this larger than life vision.

While in L.A., Johnny also immersed himself in the independent film scene. His endeavours included directing experimental photography work, studies of classic VFX techniques of miniatures and motion control, and art direction for experimental traditional fused with CG animation techniques.

A love for travel more challenge soon brought Johnny to Australia, where his immersion into ground-breaking work continued as the FX Supervisor on LEGENDS OF THE GUARDIANS. Here, Johnny also explored new creative realms and intensively studied and became trained in Method Meisner technique acting, to better understand and work with actors as a director.

Now working at London’s largest and world reputable VFX production house FRAMESTORE, Johnny is a VFX Supervisor and Commercial Director — a natural fit that leverages his extensive history in major studio VFX work, and his comprehensive understanding of the production process. His ongoing creative passion has most recently led to him to direct a Canon commercial for Dentsu which aired globally in February 2012.

THOMAS HEFFERON BIOGRAPHY

CHRISTMAS GREETINGS

December 6th, 2011 | By admin

Well, its that’s time of year that we all love, and today I’m sitting in the window of no 15 St Stephen green, Dublin  looking out on the many passersby who are getting into the Christmas spirit ,it’s so nice to see that spirit of Christmas… something that I feel should be mandatory ALL year round!

Reflecting back, this has been an incredible year and a journey to say the least!

It’s funny that it’s only been a couple of months since my first single “losing my way” was released in may and the support since then has been incredible and if your reading this my sincere gratitude and festive wishes are coming your way J

This year I have learned an astounding amount about myself, music, Life and most importantly about appreciating life’s little treasures.

2011 was about exploration and foundations for me and 2012 I promise will be about the world getting to hear my Debut Album “Step into the light,” which I know so many of have been patiently awaiting.

January will see me filming and making my second single available for release in February also thrown in for good measure will be a mini tour of the UK and performances in both Australia and Dubai.

This Christmas I look forward to a well deserved break with my family and friends to reflect and put into place a concrete plan to make “2012” The best year yet !

I hope you all and #teamkc have a very merry festive Christmas.

Love and Light
